New yoik
Here are the rest of the drawings from my New York sketchbook, sorry about the quality, for some reason the mac room was closed today so i had to scan them all in on an old p.c.
the end of november..
Last week Daryl organised a trip to New York for illustration students, it cost £500 pounds, but to be honest, was totally worth it in the end.
It was an awful eight hour plane journey to get there that consisted of awful food which was only made better by the free bar. These are some of the drawings i did to relieve the bordem... i didnt really fancy drawing the backs of heads or the tiny tellys we had in front of us. so i made an owl.

monica canilao
Monica Canilao is one of my favorite artists, ive been following her for the past two years। She isnt really established or well know and is still pretty young working in america. i find her stuff soo inspiring, it has a really hand made eclectic quality to it. she studied an illustration degree but now her work seems more fine art, at the moment she seems to be doing alot of collaborations with other artists creating large installations.

images
Some studys of foxes i did over the summer, i had the intention of transfer them to wood and making some more large scale prints.. but i never had the wood or the tools and my watercolour palette took over in the end. i would still like to make some prints of foxes, especially as we now have one that live in our garden in london .
