A beautiful day, a song and a goose ...

A poster im working on for 'Swap Not Shop' an amazing group which started on a roof terrace and is now getting bigger and bigger, whilst keeping their beautiful ethos! The teapot is a work in progress...  I am also really not used to using brighter colours, trying to capture a 'gay, bright, fun vibe' .... also have to make a website header.. deadline sunday! Crikey!

Today is a good day, the rain is falling, its cold and windy, yet these two little men have cheered me up, a coffee fuelled day in the studio with lu.

   

Me and my beautiful girls last night, I had a wonderful time, thankyou so much to everyone that came to my show last night and everyone who brought prints! The chest is practically empty now, THANKYOU soo much!!! Its on for a month, so if your in limehouse please pop in and have a peek!

Solo Show this WEDNESDAY!

My Solo show's open night is this wednesday at the departure lounge in Limehouse! I will be there from 6 - 9 pm please come along if your not too busy! Its a halal Cafe - come arts center so there will be no alcohol, but lots of tea+coffee and Cakes! After we will head down to Jamboree a little venue down the road that plays really nice live music! Message me if you want more directions!

Im currently staying in a lovely little woodcabin in some lovely somerset woods! Its beautiful, the birds wake you in the morning and you can properly see the stars at night! A little utopean break from the raveged city of london. 

Some of my new Serbian Fairytale illustrations have been featured on the brilliant blog 'Kirkan and Conkers' by Deborah Beau, find her here. I follow her posts pretty religiously, the work she features is varried, beautiful and always inspiring! Go and have a look!

I have a Solo show up in just under two weeks, 'Lemon Rind and Sundry Herbs'. This is the press release, which i luckily got an Art Journalist to write for me! Please come along if you just so happen to be in East London, Its on for a month and the place has a Cafe too selling lots of tasty food and cheap teas and coffees!

Its quite a big show for me, collating lots of different projects over the last year and quite an undertaking at this point in the degree, but a completely new experience and I am learning a lot! The opening night is on the 18th, they don't sell booze as its Halal, but there should be lots of free cake, and an after party at our studios just down the road!
